Daughtry song on Guitar Hero: On Tour!
Here’s some more exciting Daughtry news we need to catch up on.
Daughtry’s song, “What I Want” is featured on Guitar Hero: On Tour. That is so awesome! “What I Want” is one of my favorite songs from his album. I actually think it’s gets the most plays on my iPod of all of his songs. And it is a PERFECT song for Guitar Hero. That game is sooo addicting. I could play it for hours and not even realize it. Luckily though I don’t own it so I won’t end up wasting my life playing Guitar Hero all day. I have to make a conscious effort to go to my friend’s house if I want to play… it’s better this way.
Anyways, you can click HERE to find out where you can purchase it and get clips of all the featured songs. Besides Daughtry, there are 19 other artists which include:Nirvana, No Doubt, Ozzy Osbourne, Maroon 5 and a bunch more. Make sure you check it out! Daughtry continues to make it’s mark on Rock and Roll history.
I’ve still got lots of other updates coming so don’t worry. We’ll get it all down so we don’t miss anything.
Speaking of getting everything down, I’m gonna post a blog that Chris did a couple weeks ago where he talked about new songs he’s been writing by himself, with the band and even working with other writers. I can’t wait to hear some new stuff from Daughtry. It’s about time they get a new CD together. Click on the link below to read his blog.

Still writing…and I think my brain is turning to mush. LOL However, some amazing songs have been written over the past 6-7 weeks. Between me, the guys, and some great writers we’ve been working with, I think we have some GREAT stuff! It’s been an awesome process. We wrote songs together as a band which was really cool. We also wrote with some guys that really contributed to what we do and helped us along with our process. Guys like Dave Basset (Shinedown) and Tommy Heriksen (Revis). I’ve also been doing some writing with some of the guys I’ve worked with before like Mitch Allan (All These Lives), David Hodges and Ben Moody (What About Now), Brian Howes (What I Want, Over You), and Zac Maloy (Used To). I’m also writing with some other people that I totally respect as writers and artists such as Ryan Tedder (One Republic) ,and my good friend Emerson Hart (Tonic). I know thats prolly way more that you wanted to know, however I thought I’d keep you in the loop. So, we’re up to 30 some songs at this point and are still going.
Enough about that. It’s tour time again! We will be playing a few new songs on the upcoming tour to get some honest feedback. We can’t wait to get back out there and play live again…although we’re prolly a lil rusty. LOL.
So, about the video… I’m so glad you liked it when it premiered. However, we we’re trying to get it ready in time and it was still being edited. So the next time you see it, it’ll be slightly different and in my opinion, alot better. Well that’s about it for now. See ya on the road. God bless-CD
