Daughtry shut out of Grammys

Daughtry somehow came out of the 50th Annual Grammy Awards empty handed.

They were nominated for 4 Grammy Awards and shut out in all their categories:

Best Pop Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocals:
(Daughtry nominated for “Home”)
Winner: “Makes Me Wonder” Maroon 5

Best Rock Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocals:
(Daughtry nominated for “It’s Not Over”)
Winner: “Icky Thump” The White Stripes

Best Rock Song:
(Daughtry nominated for “It’s Not Over”)
Winner: “Radio Nowhere” Bruce Springsteen

Best Rock Album:
(Daughtry nominated for Daughtry)
Winner: Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace Foo Fighters

I found this very sad and I honestly thought they deserved to win at least one Grammy! I mean come on! It must be so difficult for them to be nominated 4 times and leave without one win. I’m sure they feel honored to be nominated and all that but it still must be very disappointing to get shut out like that. Sorry Daughtry! You’re still a winner in our eyes.

The one that makes me the most upset is that Maroon 5 won for Best Pop Performance because I absolutely HATE that song “Makes Me Wonder” and I can’t believe it won a Grammy over “Home”, which is such an amazing song.
Great, I’m gonna have that stupid song stuck in my head now.
Daughtry was robbed!

    And exactly how does that tattoo resemble this woman? Well other than the fact that they are both unattractive. But that’s just one more reason to love Chris…he doesn’t care that his wife’s not a babe.

    Chris is amazing.
    I actually used to think she was cute during the auditions and everything. She looks different now…
