Daughtry on PBS: Soundstage
Here’s some very exciting news!
I just so happened to be searching around on tvguide.com which was very lucky because I stumbled upon something very interesting.
Tomorrow night, Daughtry will be featured on the PBS show, Soundstage. Now, I have never seen this show but in the past it has featured such artists as: Peter Frampton, John Fogerty, Rob Thomas, Jewel, John Mayer, and many other popular performers. So this is pretty exciting. Here are the details I found:
Soundstage
Premise: An outstanding music-performance series featuring in-studio concerts.
Episode: Daughtry
The rock band Daughtry, led by former “American Idol” contestant Chris Daughtry, showcases selections from its multiplatinum self-titled 2006 debut. Included: “Feels Like Tonight,” “Home,” “It’s Not Over” and “What I Want.”
So, it’s going to be an hour-long concert special! It sounds really exciting and I can’t wait to see it. I’m sure it’s going to be awesome.
So don’t miss it!

Tomorrow night! Thursday, January 31, 2008 on PBS at 10pm EST.
On another note, there is still lots of drama surrounding the Grammy awards. (I really wish this writer’s strike would end) It looks like the striking writers will not be picketing the event, which is a good thing. But, they still have not granted a waiver to allow Guild members to work on the show.
So, who knows what will happen. They are saying the Grammys will go on no matter what and the scheduled performers will be there. However, some of the artists may choose to not attend.
Hopefully, things will all work out.
And most importantly, hopefully Daughtry will take home some Grammys… at least that’s all I really care about.
I am upset that the Academy Awards will be ruined this year but that’s a whole ‘nother story.
Just give them what they want to we can watch TV again! Sorry, is that selfish?

I caught some of the PBS special in high definition and it was incredible!! Chris was awesome in all his high def glory. Wish I had caught it right from the beginning. Maybe I should come on this blog more often. Or maybe I could have read about it somewhere else….
Oh and the Grammy’s without writers will just be another MTV music awards show. No holds barred and anything goes!! LOL. I hope they have their 3 second time delay because those musicians are liable to say just about anything without any scripted intros. Then again, screw the time delay, just let them say what they want!! Could be interesting.

I actually still haven’t seen it! Toni taped it for me so I’ll watch it this week. I’m sure it was amazing! Especially in High Def… oh baby!
Yeah, that would definitely be interesting LOL Just let them take over and say whatever they want. I’m sure that will help the ratings LOL
And I know, I caught your little BB reference! I thought I was doing much better. Give me some credit here! LOL
In my defense I found out about this show the night before, so there.
