Here’s some very exciting news that you may or may not have heard yet…
Daughtry was nominated for 3 American Music Awards!!!

Up against: Linkin Park/Minutes To Midnight and Justin Timberlake/FutureSex/Love Sounds
This one we may have a little trouble with because, I don’t know if you’ve noticed or not, but Justin Timberlake is in the process of taking over the world…
*Favorite Artist (Adult Contemporary Music)
Up Against: Norah Jones and John Mayer
This one should be a no-brainer, I mean come on.
By the way, am I the only one who thinks that John Mayer is absolutely, hideously, disgusting? *shudder*
*Favorite Breakthrough Artist
Up against: Plain White T’s and Robin Thicke
I think it’s blatantly obvious Daughtry deserves this one but apparently Robin Thicke is pretty popular as well…In my opinion, he looks too much like his Dad, Alan Thicke, and every time I see him singing all I can hear is the theme song for Growing Pains.

The 35th Annual American Music Awards will be hosted by Jimmy Kimmel (Whom I adore! He is hilarious) and will air live Sunday, November 18th at 8pm EST on ABC.
And…Daughtry will be performing live! Other confirmed performers include Celine Dion (huh? Where did that come from?), Fergie and Rihanna.
Daughtry is tied with Justin Timberlake, Beyonce and Linkin Park for the most nominations this year.
